Ministry of Education and Science allocated 22 million rubles to TSU for the purchase of high-class equipment for the training of physicians

Within the framework of the priority national project “Health”, aimed at improving the quality of medical care, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation allocated TSU named after G.R. Derzhavin 22 million rubles for the re-equipment of the Center for Accreditation and Continuing Medical Education. With this money, the university will purchase robots of a high class of realism, on which students, residents and medical workers will practice various medical manipulations.

The TSU Accreditation and Continuing Medical Education Center opened in November 2017. This complex is equipped with simulators, mannequins, dummies and robots, which are designed to practice diagnostic and therapeutic manipulations. More than 40 million rubles were spent on equipment and reconstruction of the property complex. Simulation technologies have allowed young doctors to hone their practical skills and develop clinical thinking without risk to patients. In addition, the Center was engaged in the retraining of practicing doctors who need skills in working with high-tech equipment.
