Tambov State University and Nizhny Novgorod State Linguistic University signed an agreement on cooperation in education, science, cultural exchanges, and social partnership.
Natalia Ershova, Director of the TSU Resource and Methodological Center for Interethnic Cooperation, and Galina Petrova, Director of the NSLU International Relations Department, outlined the prospects for joint work in order to implement the state national and migration policy of Russia.
“The cooperation agreement between TSU and NSLU will strengthen the network interaction between our universities in education, science, cultural exchanges, and interethnic cooperation. Within the framework of the Resource and Methodological Center for Interethnic Cooperation, there will be created all the necessary conditions to provide information, consulting and methodological support to develop enabling environment and adapt foreign citizens studying in Russia. It should increase the level of competence of specialists working with foreign students, provide communication between Russian universities, deepen interethnic and interregional cooperation,” Natalia Ershova explains.
The Center has already achieved its first positive results: Anastasia Orel, a 2nd year student of the Medical Institute, was noted at the all-Russian essay contest "The Heat of the Family". Anastasia will take part in the social project, which will be held in the Republic of Crimea from 11 to 21 August.
