TSU foreign students held an action "Do Good" on International Day of Charity

On International Day of Charity foreign students of Tambov State University, members of the TSU volunteer team "GoodWin", conducted the campaign "Do Good." TSU students visited a boarding school for children with disabilities in Tambov where they played with children and introduced them the cultures of their countries, including Ghana, Egypt, Zambia, India, Congo and Namibia.

"Our participation in charity actions strengthens interethnic friendship," says Mavuli Amedzoro, a fourth-year medical student from Ghana. “We understand that charity knows no bounds, that we are united and must help each other. The campaign "Do Good" gave us and kids many positive emotions.

According to Natalia Ershova, director of the Resource and Methodological Center for Interethnic Cooperation of TSU, solidarity with representatives of vulnerable segments of the population contributes to the establishment of a dialogue between people of different cultures, religions, and the formation of tolerance in modern society.

Nadezhda Dementieva, head teacher of the boarding school for children with disabilities, expressed gratitude to TSU named after GR. Derzhavin for holding the campaign "Do Good."
