Mahmoud Saad, a TSU student from Jordan, is a participant in the international forum “Sustainable On” in Sochi

On the basis of the Sirius educational center in Sochi, an international forum “Sustainable On” was held for foreign students studying in Russia. The forum was organized by Rosatom State Corporation, which identified the achievement of sustainable development goals as the main theme of the event. According to the results of the competitive selection, a fourth-year student of the TSU Medical Institute Mahmoud Saad become the participant of the event.

For five days 70 foreign students from Rosatom's partner countries (Bangladesh, Belarus, Bolivia, Hungary, Egypt, Zambia, Jordan, Rwanda, Serbia, Sudan, Turkey and Uzbekistan) worked on projects with the aim of finding new solutions in the field of educational environment development , improving well-being and protecting the world. For the participants they prepared master classes on creating project initiatives and planning in the field of sustainable development. Also, as part of the forum, foreign students met with the head of the Rosatom State Corporation Alexei Likhachev.

It is a great honor for me to be at that forum, - says Mahmoud Saad. Many talented young  boys and girls from around the world gathered here to look for opportunities to achieve a balance between the economic, environmental and social development of mankind. My initiative is to overcome ethnic differences through creativity that is accessible and understandable to all people, regardless of their origin and social status.
