The Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports
Is one of the first study departments of Tambov State University. Two years ago we celebrate the 70th anniversary of sport education in Tambov region. In the TSU named after G.R. Derzhavin formed a large-scale sports complex with the latest material and technical base. It includes a Sports Palace, two Fitness Centers, Sports Hall, a gymnasium, a stadium, a Health and Rehabilitation Center, and the recreation center.
Over 70 years, more than 6,000 specialists have been trained, many of them have become teachers and trainers, scientists and titled athletes. Students, being worthy successors of their teachers, continue to increase high sporting achievements.
