The diverse program consisted of classes on the following topics: "Fundamentals of business planning", "Legal foundations of organizing your own business", "Public protection of a scientific work", "The rules of applying for grants", "Technology of writing a scientific text" and "Legal dictation". Over 3000 students have participated in the project.

“In recent years, the University has been dynamically developing a student scientific society, students have also created a Student Scientific Council. They discuss the current state of student science, come up with proposals and conduct huge events both at the regional and national levels in order to establish new professional contacts. Student scientific clubs work in each university department,”

says Vladimir Stromov, TSU rector.

In 2017-2018 academic year, TSU Student Scientific Council implemented some projects for high school students. Such initiatives as "Week of Professional Literacy" and a competition of scientific works "Discovering science" have already gained wide popularity in the region. "Competence school" is a new project aimed at the development of necessary professional skills of our students.

“Before the content creation of our “Competence School", we had conducted a questioning among our students. As a result, we chose six main topics. The implementation experience of our project shows that such initiatives aimed at the formation of additional competencies are interesting for our students, and we will continue to do so. Next year, we are also going to add trainings on healthy lifestyle, stress resistance, marketing, advertising and public relations," says Vladimir Zavyalov, Chairperson of TSU Student Scientific Council.
