Within the framework of the memorandum of understanding, the TSU delegation visited the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service (Republic of Uzbekistan) - a partner at Derzhavin University.  At the meeting with the rector of the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service Muhiddin Pulatov, the parties signed an agreement on joint educational programs on the model of two diplomas. Colleagues discussed the prospects of academic cooperation in the field of economics and management.

“We have developed a vocational training program specifically for Uzbek bachelor’s and masters studying the Russian language,”-  said Tatyana Osadchaya, vice rector for international relations and work with foreign students of TSU. - Today, cooperation with Uzbek universities is one of the priorities of the Russian higher education institutions. The development of academic mobility between the universities of our countries is promoted by an agreement on the mutual recognition of education, qualifications and degrees. The agreement was signed by the government of the Russian Federation and the government of Uzbekistan.
