On a working visit the delegation of the Central Asian Innovation University (Shymkent, Republic of Kazakhstan) visited Derzhavin University. On the part of Central Asian Innovation University Vice-Rector for Research and International Relations Zhanar Kazanbayeva, Head of the Monitoring, QMS and Accreditation Department Lavbarkhan Turakulova took part in the discussion.
During the visit, the CAIU delegation met with Acting Rector of Derzhavin University Pavel Moiseev. They discussed the prospects and directions of cooperation between universities.
– We have agreed with colleagues from the Central Asian Innovation University on the implementation of joint research projects, - says Acting Rector of Derzhavin University Pavel Moiseev. – We will focus on research related to technologies for processing organic waste and obtaining humic fertilizers, as well as the production of equipment for these purposes. Another area of cooperation will be solving the problems of the agricultural complex and rational nature management based on the analysis of data obtained using remote sensing technologies of the Earth.
The CAIU delegation visited the Derzhavin Technopark, microbiology and Biotechnology laboratories, the Competence Center for the Use of Unmanned Aircraft Systems, got acquainted with the sports infrastructure of Derzhavin University. Head of the Department of Monitoring, QMS and Accreditation of the Central Asian Innovation University Labarkhan Turakulova gave a lecture for students of the Institute of Economics, Management and Service.
Cooperation with the Central Asian Innovation University began in 2015. Leading scientists of CAIU participated in scientific conferences, seminars and master classes on the basis of Derzhavin University. University students took part in International Accounting Olympiads organized by the Central Asian Innovation University.
In 2021, students and teachers of the Central Asian Innovation University took part in the project "Through Language to the origins of the Russian soul", implemented by Derzhavin University with the grant support of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation. Russian teachers took advanced training courses under the program "Teaching Russian as a foreign language in the aspect of linguoculturological approach", 15 students of the partner university took part in the festival "Great Ascetics of the Russian Land".
