International Derzhavin Academic Competition in the Russian Language
The International Derzhavin Academic Competition in the Russian Language is held by Derzhavin Tambov State University in cooperation with Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service (Republic of Uzbekistan) in a full-time mode using remote technologies.
The goal of the Academic Competition is to create additional conditions for the support and development of the Russian language, as well as to increase students’ interest in learning Russian as a foreign language and regional studies of Russia.
The Academic Competition is designed to solve the following tasks:
- preservation and development of interest in the Russian language and regional studies of Russia among students learning Russian as a foreign language;
- increasing the prestige of the Russian language among international students;
- formation of a positive attitude of foreign youth towards the Russian language.
Students studying Russian as a foreign language in higher education institutions take part in the Academic Competition. The level of the Russian language proficiency is B1, C1.
