Employment
Derzhavin University is a regional platform for training highly qualified personnel in more than 200 educational programs. To ensure effective employment of young professionals, the university has the Derzhavin Career Center, which helps young professionals to build their careers.
Derzhavin University Partners
The university works closely with major employers in the region. More than 100 employers provide internship and employment opportunities for students. Among the largest partners of the University are: PJSC “Sberbank”, Group of Companies “RusAgro”, PJSC “VTB”, PJSC “Rostelecom”, JSC “Pigment”, LLC “Yandex”, LLC “MailGroup”. As part of training students in medical fields, the university cooperates with 13 regional and city medical organizations, which act as clinical practice bases and places of employment for the future specialists.
Events
Derzhavin University is the organizer of career events for students in all areas of training, with the involvement of partner employers, large companies, and representatives of the university administration.
Major events
- SpeachUp is a platform for communication between students and employers, business representatives of the region.
- TSU Career Forum is the largest career event that combines traditional company presentations and new formats (trainings, master classes, equal dialogues).
- The Center for Flexible Competencies in the Media Sphere is a platform for training young journalists to work with the latest digital media formats and platforms, and new communication channels.
- The foresight session “Derzhavinsky - a driver for the development of teacher education” is the largest foresight session in the region to discuss issues of teacher training.
Working while studying
Students of Derzhavin University can combine work and study.
Career Center "Derzhavinsky" helps to find vacancies with part-time employment for the period of study and summer holidays.
Since 2020 international students can work if:
• they study full-time;
• they study in professional educational organizations and educational institutions of higher education;
• they do a major professional academic program, which has state accreditation;
• they work during their free time.

1.1. This policy has been developed for implementation at the Derzhavin Tambov State University (hereinafter referred to as TSU, the University)
1.2. TSU undertakes to regulate maternity and paternity based relationships.
1.3. The University has developed a set of measures aimed at improving the quality of life in the area of maternity and paternity.
2. SET OF MEASURES
2.1. According to the Labour Code of the Russian Federation, the University provides all the established possibilities for fathers and mothers to care for the child: the granting of childcare leave may be used in whole or in parts by the mother or father of the child until the child reaches the age of 3.
2.1.1. During the period of childcare leave, the employee retains his or her job (position).
2.1.2. Childcare leave is included in the total and uninterrupted work experience.
2.1.3. An employee with two or more children under the age of 14, an employee with a disabled child under the age of 18, a single mother raising a child under the age of 14, a father raising a child under 14 -years without a mother, a collective agreement may establish annual additional leave without pay at a time convenient for them, up to14 calendar days. In this case, the aforementioned leave, at the request of the employee, may be attached to the annual paid leave or used separately or in parts. This leave may not be transferred to the following working year.
2.2. The University takes all appropriate measures to improve social support of maternity and paternity area:
2.2.1. Develops measures aimed at developing human potential in the field of assistance to the family and children, organization of retraining, further training and methodical support of specialists on the basis of modem approaches.
2.3. The University carries out educational activities in the field of maternity and paternity.
2.4. The University cooperates with authorities, business and the public in the field of maternity and paternity.
