On July 8, 2024, Pavel Moiseev, Rector of Derzhavin Tambov State University signed the Regulations on the Establishment of the Association of Foreign Graduates of Derzhavin University.
Over the past 10 years, more than 3,000 foreign citizens from almost 90 countries have graduated from the University. Young people have found their vocation in their chosen profession and are in-demand highly qualified specialists. Our graduates work all over the world saving people's lives, developing science, culture and education, participating in the political and social life of their countries!
Currently, the Association consolidates hundreds of foreign graduates from dozens of countries who are ambassadors of Derzhavin University abroad. They are united not only by their love for their alma mater, but also by a positive attitude towards Russia, knowledge of the Russian language and Russian culture.
The Association acts as a new international communication platform for creating closer, inseparable ties between graduates and their alma mater, for holding meetings, socially significant events in Russia and abroad, expert support for professionals, and assistance in the employment. Membership in the Association will provide a unique opportunity to continue your "history" with your alma mater, become its reliable partner in various areas of development, and will open access to the loyalty program and corporate system of the University.

One of the best life changing decisions I made was studying in Tambov State University. I was studying bachelors in Pharma in India but when I heard about the opportunity to pursue Medicine in TSU, Russia, I didn’t think twice and grabbed it. Tambov was suitable not only for academics but also for developing hobbies and social skills. After spending the 6 best years of my life in Russia and graduating with a Degree with Distinction, I moved back to India for the licensing exam and cracked it in the first attempt with great scores. I gained 4 years of work experience in India and decided to move to Germany for the masters, and I’m currently preparing for the final exam of the German approbation.
