International Online Festival “Such Diverse Pushkin”
On the Great Poet’s Birthday
On International Russian Language Day, June 6, the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language at Derzhavin Tambov State University annually organizes the International Festival “Such Diverse Pushkin” in an online format.
The goal of the project is to actualize the interest of international students in Pushkin’s creative work and Russian culture, develop linguistic and intercultural competences of students, intensify contacts with foreign colleagues teaching Russian.
The online festival is intended to emphasize that Pushkin’s works are in tune with our time, close and understandable to people from different countries of the world, and capable of uniting representatives of different cultures and mentalities.
To participate in the festival, you must submit a project (material for publication in the community) dedicated to A.S. Pushkin’s creative work.
Possible projects:
- video recordings of recited poems or staged works by A.S. Pushkin,
- video recording of a musical number dedicated to A.S. Pushkin’s creative work;
- illustrations for A.S. Pushkin’ works;
- photo projects in the “cosplay” format (dressing up in costumes and conveying character, body plasticity, facial expressions of characters in fictional works);
- photo projects in the “art-isolation” format (ironic reproduction of famous works of art using materials at hand).
The format of the projects is not strictly regulated; participants can propose a different project (social survey, video lecture, book trailer, etc.). Imagination, originality, individuality are welcome!
