A Center for Standard Legal Information has opened at the G.R. Derzhavin Tambov State University. Along with the approval of the Center's regulations, an agreement was signed to provide access to the ETALON-ONLINE information retrieval system. Russian users will now be able to access up-to-date official legal information from the Republic of Belarus and the Union State.
This event is of particular practical significance, given the strong friendly ties between Russia and Belarus, as well as close cooperation in various areas. This encompasses a wide range of joint initiatives in business, social and cultural environment, science, and education. Therefore, the significance of the signed agreement for the information and legal support of the partnership between Russia and Belarus is difficult to overestimate.
"These days, Derzhavin University is hosting a prestigious international scientific and educational event, which includes the grand opening of the Center for Standard Legal Information and a roundtable discussion on current issues in the Union State's legal policy," says Pavel Moiseev, Rector of Derzhavin University. "This is a truly significant event for our university, as it combines a scientific and educational agenda with the practical task of expanding access to official legal information. The opening of the Center for Standard Legal Information, with the support of the National Center for Legislation and Legal Information of the Republic of Belarus, is a significant event both for Derzhavin University and the region as a whole. The Center will provide access to the ETALON-ONLINE information retrieval system and the legislation of Belarus and the Union State. All interested parties will be able to obtain up-to-date, official, and reliable legal information, thereby acquiring an effective tool for realizing and protecting their rights, which will contribute to the further development of democratic, social, and legal practices.
