A delegation from Tambov State University named after G.R. Derzhavin conducted a working visit to Saratov. The delegation included Vice-Rector for Research, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Alexander Gusev; Acting Director of the Institute of Medicine and Health Preservation, Candidate of Economics, Associate Professor Nikolai Denisov; Director of the Office of Technological Leadership Vladimir Zelenov; and Assistant Director of the Accreditation and Simulation Center Anton Tolstykh.
The visit began with a presentation of developments by the small innovative enterprise MAKAO IT LLC (a Skolkovo Foundation resident). Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, and Honored Inventor of Russia Valery Bakutkin presented simulation devices and hardware and software systems for ophthalmology. Following the discussion, preliminary agreements were reached on submitting joint applications for competitions and grants in the fields of scientific instrumentation, artificial intelligence, and medicine, as well as on the possible use of the presented equipment in the educational process at Derzhavin University.
A meeting was held with Alexander Fedonnikov, Vice-Rector for Science at V.I. Razumovsky Saratov State Medical University. They discussed collaboration in conducting research projects, holding scientific conferences, and exchanging experience. A preliminary agreement was reached on holding joint interregional scientific conferences.
Derzhavin University's delegation visited the simulation center at V.I. Razumovsky Saratov State Medical University. During the exchange of experience, the issue of commercial cooperation in the design and manufacture of silicone consumables for simulation equipment was discussed. The meeting participants agreed to explore the possibility of using MSLA and FDM models developed at V.I. Razumovsky Saratov State Medical University in Derzhavin University's educational process.
Representatives of Tambov State University named after G.R. Derzhavin also toured the university's congress center and healthy food processing plant.
The visit concluded with talks with representatives of JSC NPP Almaz, a subsidiary of the Rostec state corporation. The delegation presented the university's technological capabilities in developing and testing new materials, as well as its educational and scientific expertise in medicine. The participation of Derzhavin University's representatives in addressing the university's scientific and technical challenges was discussed. Preliminary agreements were reached on organizing collaboration and exploring the possibility of conducting commercial research projects.
