Derzhavin University has launched a podcast called Back to Derzhavin University which tells us about the University graduates. Two episodes have been released in the University’s official VKontakte group. Their characters are Ben Hamadou Omar from Tunisia and Cleotilde Guardado from El Salvador. Omar graduated from the Medical Institute several years ago and now works as an orthopedic doctor in Germany. Cleotilde received a bachelor’s degree in International Relations this year. During her internship at the Embassy of El Salvador in Moscow, Cleotilde made a strong showing and was offered a job at her country’s consulate in Australia.
– I think the first two episodes were successful thanks to interesting characters: motivated, open, true professionals. But this is only the beginning, – says Andrey Prokhorov, Director of the Derzhavin University Public Relations Center. – I think it is worth explaining the motivation for the podcast name. Of course, it refers to the title of the famous film “Back to the Future”. Besides, we once united the tradition of meetings of graduates with students with the project “Back to Derzhavin University”. We rejoice at our graduates’ success, we are happy to see them within the walls of the University in a different capacity, and we welcome their return Back to Derzhavin University.
