Derzhavin Tambov State University hosts a series of lectures from Adam Petrovich, Doctor of Sciences, Associate Professor of the UNION – Nikola Tesla University (Serbia) for students of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports. The topic of the meetings is "Theory of motor qualities and sports training".
– I'm coming to Tambov for the fourth time. Now we are discussing with the guys the speed abilities of a person and the methodology of their development, – says Adam Petrovich. – Students listen carefully to everything and ask interesting questions on the topics of lectures. It is pleasant to note that every year more and more students enter the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports of Derzhavin University. This shows the interest of young people in physical culture.
The lecture series includes classes on key physical qualities: strength, endurance, speed, agility and flexibility. Adam Petrovich tells Derzhavin residents about the peculiarities of the European school of physical culture.
Adam Petrovich was engaged in basketball for 10 years, after which he worked as a coach at Partizan and Dynamic basketball clubs in Serbia.
Derzhavin University has been actively cooperating with educational, scientific and public organizations in Serbia for about 10 years. During this time, many scientific, academic and socio-cultural projects have been implemented. Derzhavin University with Serbian partners participated in the action "Immortal Regiment" in Serbia. Derzhavin University has been cooperating with the UNION – Nikola Tesla University (Serbia) since 2017.
– At Derzhavin University, special attention is paid to the development of international cooperation. Partnership relations with Serbia are of particular importance, since we are traditionally connected with Serbian colleagues by the commonality of cultural and educational traditions," said Pavel Moiseev, Acting Rector of Derzhavinsky. – We plan to develop and strengthen ties with Serbian partner universities not only in the field of physical culture, but also in such areas as law, history and international relations
