"Derzhavin University Meetings on Tatyana's Day" - a series of career guidance events with this name brought together students of the graduating classes of general education organizations of the region, as well as parents.
During the Admissions Day, the students received detailed information about the current admission rules, areas of training, features of conducting entrance examinations, existing priorities for enrollment in the university, and the accrual of additional points for individual achievements. Marina Molneva, responsible secretary of the Derzhavin University Admissions Committee, spoke about the features of the upcoming 2025 admissions campaign, educational programs of secondary vocational education, bachelor's degree, specialist degree, master's degree, postgraduate study and residency.
In Derzhavin University, consultation points of the admissions committee were opened for schoolchildren, psychological testing was conducted to determine the area of professional focus, quests and master classes prepared by specialists from the educational departments of Derzhavin University.
- We offered the visitors to take a trip around Derzhavin University's educational clusters, ask questions to teachers and students in real time, immerse themselves in the educational process, get acquainted with scientific opportunities, student life and volunteer work at the university, - commented Olga Gorbunova, associate professor of the department of the Derzhavin University Institute of Creative Industries, Economics and Entrepreneurship. - Modern schoolchildren prefer active communications. Therefore, every year Derzhavin University develops a new format of meetings with potential students and original content for the presentation of the university, its scientific and educational departments.
Over the course of two days, more than 350 senior school students from Tambov and municipalities in the region visited the university's locations. The Admissions Day provided an opportunity for schoolchildren to experience the student atmosphere, learn about specializations, and get a positive attitude towards successful admission to a higher educational institution.
– I am preparing to enter the Institute of Law and National Security at Derzhavin University. In the future, I would like to connect my life with service in law enforcement agencies, – says Alyona, a student at School No. 11, Tambov. – For me, Derzhavin University is a reputable university. The Admissions Day once again reinforced my confidence in the correctness of my choice. Together with my classmates, we visited interactive sites and spent time with great benefit.
