Tambov State University named after G.R. Derzhavin and the Tambov regional branch of the Union of Architects of Russia have partnered to host the first Architecture Week in Tambov. This large-scale educational event is taking place at the university from August 14 to 22. It brings together a professional community of planners, architects, urban planners, and designers.
The intensive five-day program includes roundtable discussions, open discussions, lectures, site visits, and hands-on workshops. Speakers include leading architects, urbanists, designers, artists, and young visual arts researchers. They introduce participants to current practices and modern trends in the creation of spatial environments and share their professional experiences.
Reputable experts from Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Lipetsk, and Tambov have already held educational intensives on architecture, urban planning, and design. They presented contemporary approaches to shaping the urban environment and discussed issues of identity, regulatory requirements, and current design trends with the audience.
