Career Day was held at Derzhavin University. More than 30 leading employers of the region took part in the event, including Sberbank PJSC, Pigment JSC, Rusagro Group of Companies, Lanta LLC, the Federal Tax Service Administration, Elektropribor PJSC, Alfa Bank JSC and others.
The students visited an exhibition of employers from various industries, got acquainted with current vacancies and learned about the corporate culture of the region's leading companies. Derzhavin University students also took part in master classes on writing resumes and preparing for interviews.
– Graduate employment is one of the most important areas of the university’s work, – says Nikolay Karev, Vice-Rector for Strategic Development at Derzhavin University. – Career Day is a unique opportunity for students to contact employers, and for employers, it is a chance to find suitable personnel. We strive to create a platform where young professionals can gain knowledge and skills for a successful career start, learn about career prospects and receive valuable employment recommendations from representatives of leading companies in the region. We thank all partners for participating in this event. We hope for further cooperation and are already starting preparations for the next Career Day, which will take place in the spring.
