The University hosted the VIII Derzhavin Medical Forum “Current Issues in Medical Practice.” The program includes four sections and a symposium on the problems of medical and social examination in 2024. At breakout sessions experts discussed current issues in the treatment of internal diseases, neurology, cardiology, motherhood and childhood, and ultrasound diagnostics.
“The Derzhavin Medical Forum has become a traditional scientific event for us. Every year, the forum brings together specialists from various fields to discuss topical issues and search for optimal solutions. Participation in such conferences by our students - students and residents - helps to increase the level of knowledge and competence of future specialists,” says the Director of the Derzhavin Medical Institute Nikita Voronin.
The speakers of the Forum were doctors, specialized specialists from the city of Tambov, as well as invited scientists from the leading organizations of the country: the Research Institute of Vaccines and Serums named after. I.I. Mechnikov, Moscow Medical University "Reaviz", Medical Institute of RUDN named after. Patrice Lumumba, National Medical Research Center for PN named after. V.P. Serbian Ministry of Health of Russia, PSPbSMU named after. acad. I.P. Pavlov Ministry of Health of Russia, Ryazan State Medical University named after Acad. I.P. Pavlova of the Russian Ministry of Health, etc.
