A delegation from G.R. Derzhavin Tambov State University paid a working visit to Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno (Republic of Belarus). Representatives from Derzhavin University toured the "Technolab" Science and Technology Park and the partner university's technical infrastructure, and discussed promising areas for bilateral cooperation.
The delegation included Alexander Gusev, Vice-Rector for Research at Derzhavin University, and Alexey Abramov, Director of the Center for Advanced Chemical Technologies.
On the first day of the visit, the delegation met with the leadership of Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno. The parties discussed promising avenues for cooperation, including joint scientific projects and the development of innovation infrastructure. The delegation then visited the "Technolab" Science and Technology Park, where they learned about the park's operations, its facilities and equipment, and the mechanisms in place to support innovative projects.
On the second day, the Tambov delegation continued exploring the university's research and educational infrastructure. Derzhavin University scientists assessed the facilities and equipment at the Faculty of Biology and Ecology, among other departments.
"This visit marks another important step in developing the partnership between Derzhavin University and Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno. The agreements reached lay the foundation for implementing joint research and educational projects in the fields of chemical technologies, biology, ecology, and physics," noted Alexander Gusev, Vice-Rector for Research at Derzhavin University.
