At the invitation of the Nantong Institute of Technology, a visit of the university delegation headed by Rector Pavel Moiseyev to Jiangsu Province (PRC) has begun. Nantong is a modern city with almost 8 million residents. During the visit, numerous meetings are planned at the university, schools, and cultural institutions. The topics to be discussed include attracting Chinese applicants to study at Derzhavin University, organizing the "China Week in Tambov-2025", and new cultural and educational initiatives. Thanks to the high level of partnership between Derzhavin University and the Qi Ming Culture company, it is expected to develop cooperation between the university and educational, cultural institutions, and government bodies of Jiangsu Province.
On the eve of the visit, Pavel Moiseyev spoke at an international conference dedicated to strengthening cultural ties between Russia and China. The conference was held at the Tianjiabing Secondary School in Nantong.
– Considering our imminent arrival in Jiangsu, I was glad to attend the conference, – comments Pavel Moiseyev. – I presented our university. Of course, I also spoke about our educational cooperation with China. It has undoubtedly achieved fruitful results. In recent years, we have been constantly strengthening the teaching of the Chinese language, hoping that more Russian students will be able to go to China to study and get acquainted with Chinese culture. At the same time, we welcome the arrival of Chinese students in Tambov. Such an exchange can not only contribute to academic progress, but also strengthen the friendship between the peoples of both countries.
