Derzhavin University and the Exponenta signed an agreement to create a basic Department of Modern Automation Technologies and 1C Solutions. This will be done within the framework of the implementation of Derzhavin University's technology leadership strategy and is designed to stimulate the development of the digital economy and the training of highly qualified personnel for the IT industry.
– The creation of a basic department is another step in the progressive development of IT education in our region, – comments Rector Pavel Moiseev. – At Derzhavin University, we think both opportunistically and strategically. We aim to train specialists who will be in demand in the labor market today. But I am also confident that this project will expand educational and career opportunities for our students in the future and will make a significant contribution to the digitalization of the Tambov Region economy.
The agreement was signed at the opening of a large-scale project of Derzhavin University – Derzhava IT Cluster. This is a modern scientific and educational space that unites leading IT companies, students and schoolchildren of the Tambov Region.
The Department of Modern Automation Technologies and 1C Solutions will become a unique platform for training specialists in the field of business process automation, implementation and development of solutions on the 1C platform. Students will receive not only theoretical knowledge, but also practical skills, working on real cases from leading partner companies.
