Students of Derzhavin Tambov State University Ilya Pivovarov, Nikita Nikitin, Danila Nevedrov and Daniil Tatyanin took part in the Summer School of Improvisation, which was held at the Kerch State Marine Technological University.
The Summer School brought together 150 students from 28 regions of Russia, providing participants with the opportunity to gain new knowledge and skills in the field of humor and improvisation, exchange experience and find new ideas for creativity.
For six days, the guys attended trainings and master classes in acting, stage improvisation, teamwork, public speaking techniques and creative thinking. Each day ended with a concert, where the participants prepared and presented their improvisation numbers and took part in thematic battles.
– The Summer School educational program was incredibly intense, classes lasted from morning until late evening, – says Ilya Pivovarov, a 4th-year student majoring in Service. – This year I am participating in two areas, as a coach and as a member of a duet. I learned a lot about training comedians, organizing the club and creating a show. I consider the most important result of the Summer School of Improvisation to be the project to create an improvclub (improvisation club) at Derzhavin University. The School provided everything necessary to make this happen. I am sure that together with the university management we will open such a club in the near future, and the improvising community will definitely develop at our university. For our skills and abilities, which allow us to successfully perform in various humorous areas, we thank the Derzhavin University KVN League, as well as Sergei Forofontov and Vladimir Ryabykh.
Summer School of Improvisation is part of the special project "Your Move. Improvisation" of the All-Russian Student Project "Your Move", which is part of the Presidential Platform "Russia - the Land of Opportunities" and is implemented by the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh) with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
