Derzhavin University announced the results of its quiz, timed to coincide with China Week. Participants answered questions on the university’s social media channels about architecture, calligraphy, music, and the achievements of China. The seven most intelligent and successful participants received commemorative gifts related to the provinces where Derzhavin’s Chinese partner universities are located.
Vice Rector for International Affairs Elena Zueva thanked the winners for their interest in Chinese history and culture and invited them to participate in educational internship programs at Chinese universities.
“Every morning, I watched for the next quiz question to appear on Derzhavin’s Telegram channel. The question about the hieroglyph for water seemed easy to me. Other questions required a deep interest in the country, knowledge of Chinese history, traditions, and language,” said Anastasia Chernyshova, a second-year student in the Faculty of History, Political Science, and Philology at Derzhavin University.
