Derzhavin University's 2026 admissions campaign is drawing to a close. Admission orders for undergraduate and specialist degree programs, both for regular spots and for spots within the target, separate, and special quotas, have been published on the university's official website.
The total number of state-funded places in undergraduate and specialist degree programs this year was 982. A total of 14,463 applications were submitted. The highest competition was for the Jurisprudence program and the specializations in Legal Support of National Security, General Medicine, and Pediatrics.
Applicants also showed significant interest in other programs and specializations. For Advertising and Public Relations, Linguistics, and Clinical Psychology, the competition ranged from 18 to 20 applicants per spot. Over 15 applicants competed for each spot in the Information Security program, and eight applicants competed for spots in the natural sciences.
This year, Derzhavin University admitted over 90 applicants, including veterans of the Second Military Military Command, their children, and the children of veterans of military operations in Russia and abroad.
The university offers creative and professional entrance examinations for several programs, conducted both in person and remotely. This year, over 200 students passed them.
Admissions for the 2026 bachelor's and specialist's degree programs were accepted in two ways: in person and through the "Online University Admission" super service. This year, 97% of applicants submitted their documents through the government services portal, either independently or with the assistance of Derzhavin University's admissions office consultants.
