Derzhavin Tambov State University was visited by the delegation of Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service of the Republic of Uzbekistan headed by Dilshod Abduraimov, Head of the Department for Coordination of Joint Educational Programs in Cooperation with Foreign Higher Education Institutions.
At Derzhavin University, the delegation of the partner university was welcomed by Sergey Khudyakov, Director of the Department of International Relations and Migration Registration, Irina Mizis, Deputy Director of the Department of International Relations and Migration Registration and Tatiana Kozhevnikova, Director of the Institute of Creative Industries, Economics and Entrepreneurship.
Derzhavin University and Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service have been cooperating in the field of education and science for more than ten years. Higher educational institutions hold scientific conferences and competitions, implement joint programs of two diplomas, academic exchange of students and teachers, carry out projects to promote the Russian language and culture in foreign countries.
- Since 2023, Russia and Uzbekistan have been implementing a plan of joint actions to implement agreements in the field of higher education, science and innovation for 2023-2025. In the process of interaction between universities, scientific projects and developments, academic mobility programs, competitions for scientists are implemented, - said the Director of the Department of International Relations and Migration Accounting of Derzhavin University Sergey Khudyakov. - Cooperation between our universities is one of the strategic directions of international activities of the University.
At the official meeting the parties discussed educational and scientific partnership of higher educational institutions, considered issues of expansion of further cooperation between Derzhavin University and Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service, outlined plans for the 2025-2026 academic year, including the opening of joint Master's degree programs.
