In the lead-up to Family, Love, and Fidelity Day, Derzhavin University hosted a series of themed events, bringing together representatives of different generations.
The university organized an intellectual quiz dedicated to family values and traditions. Participants delved into the history of the holiday, exploring folk rituals and cultural characteristics that shape the unique family culture in our country.
One part of the celebration was also a family film screening. Students and their parents gathered to watch the film, discuss its plot, and enjoy a relaxed time with their loved ones.
Together with participants of the fourth shift of the "University Shifts" project, Derzhavin University students held a "chamomile flash mob." Holding hands, the students formed a daisy, the symbol of the holiday. The event drew public attention to strengthening family relationships and created an atmosphere of unity and support. "Derzhavin University, true to its traditions, continues to support the ideas of Family, Love, and Fidelity Day, creating a comfortable environment for communication and the preservation of spiritual and moral values. The university is the official operator of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation for the implementation of family policy at universities," says Pavel Moiseev, Rector of Tambov State University named after G.R. Derzhavin. "We are implementing a corporate demographic standard aimed at supporting student families with children. A mother-and-child room and a short-stay group for children have been opened at the Universad campus. Student families have the opportunity to receive a discount on accommodation in a rental house. Furthermore, the university provides financial assistance to student families upon marriage and the birth of a child, as well as monthly assistance to young parents raising children. Our goal is to make starting a family during the student years a conscious, timely, and desirable choice.
