Pavel Moiseev, Rector of Tambov State University named after G.R. Derzhavin, and Elena Zueva, Vice-Rector for International Affairs, held a meeting with a delegation from the Nantong Institute of Technology.
The main goal of the talks, held in Moscow, was to develop cooperation between the two universities and develop a joint roadmap for activities.
Representing the Chinese partner university at the meeting were the university's Rector, Vice-Rectors for International Affairs, Vice-Rectors for Government Relations, and the Head of the International Department.
The parties agreed to continue implementing the student mobility program for Derzhavin students in China and planned to hold a Winter School for Chinese students in 2027 at Derzhavin University.
The partners focused on joint research projects and discussed new formats for educational activities. Specifically, plans include the creation of a joint research laboratory, scientific internships, the development of joint educational programs in robotics and artificial intelligence, design and management, and the implementation of academic faculty exchange programs. The parties also discussed opportunities to expand cultural interaction.
Cooperation between Tambov State University named after G.R. Derzhavin and Nantong Institute of Technology is under an agreement signed in May 2025.
