Derzhavin University was included in the International Impact Rankings 2024 (The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings). In total, it included more than 2,000 universities from 125 countries, of which 79 universities are Russian. Among Russian universities, Derzhavin University took 32nd position. The best results of the university were noted in the following areas: reducing inequality, health and well-being, decent work and economic growth. The International Impact Rankings are the only ranking in the world that evaluates universities against the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in four areas: research, education, governance and outreach.
