The current RUR (Round University Ranking) has been published. It evaluates the activities of more than 1,200 leading global higher education institutions in 4 key areas: teaching, research, international diversity, and financial sustainability.
This year, the ranking included 1,238 educational institutions from more than 80 countries, including 121 Russian universities. Derzhavin University was again included in the ranking list and in the national segment it again entered the top 100 universities in Russia, taking 86th place, and in the global ranking - 1,066th place.
In the "International Activity" segment, Tambov State University named after G.R. Derzhavin entered the top 20 leading universities in Russia, taking an intermediate place between the Baltic Federal University named after M.N. I.Kant (19th position) and North Caucasus Federal University (21st position).
- The positive results of the World University Ranking for 2024 clearly demonstrate the effectiveness of our chosen strategy for the formation of an internationally oriented university, - says Pavel Moiseev, Rector of Derzhavin University. - International activity is multicomponent and acts as a connecting "canvas" of all key university policies: youth, scientific, educational, personnel. Such a noticeable position of Derzhavin University in the world RUR ranking for the integrated indicator of international diversity, despite the current restrictive factors, is evidence of the high level of internationalization of the entire university, the competitiveness of the export of our education and openness to the world.
