At the meeting of the Academic Council, Rector Pavel Moiseev presented awards to the university faculty and staff for their significant personal contributions to the development of higher education.
A Silver Medal "For Assistance" from the Russian Ministry of Justice was awarded to Alexander Zolotukhin, head of the legal clinic and head of the Department of Civil Procedure, Organization of Judicial and Prosecutor's Activities at the Institute of Law and National Security, for his active participation in perpetuating the memory of the outstanding Russian lawyer Fyodor Plevako and for organizing the unveiling of a monument to the lawyer in Tambov.
Alexander Zolotukhin was also awarded the G.R. Derzhavin TSU Gold Medal for his outstanding personal contribution to the university's development, special achievements in professional, scientific, and community activities that contributed to enhancing the university's prestige, and in connection with his 75th anniversary. Oleg Nefedov, Deputy Director of the Property Management Department, was awarded a Certificate of Merit from the Tambov Region Government for his professional achievements and many years of dedicated service.
Olga Rudko, Curator of the Museum and Exhibition Complex's collections, was awarded the "For Services to G.R. Derzhavin Tambov State University" badge for her many years of dedicated service and in honour of her 80th anniversary.
Rector Pavel Moiseev warmly thanked the recipients for their productive work and noted their exceptional professionalism and invaluable contribution to the university's development and community service.
