At the initiative of the Rector Pavel Moiseev, Derzhavin University held the Derzhavin Tree campaign for the first time this year. The goal is to gift New Year's magic to children who find themselves in a difficult life situation.
The participants in the campaign were students, staff, and teachers of the University. The Derzhavin University staff fulfilled the dreams of children from boarding schools and family support and child assistance centers of the Tambov Region. More than 300 children received gifts, with half of them being children with disabilities.
