A graduate of Derzhavin University, Chinmay Pevekar, completed an InteRussia internship for foreign doctors. Chinmay successfully completed his studies at the
Medical Institute of Derzhavin University this year.
The internship program was organized by the Gorchakov Foundation in partnership with Sechenov University. Seven doctors from India, Iraq, China, Cuba
and Turkey took part.
For two weeks, young doctors got acquainted with advanced techniques and technologies. Curators of the cardiology department presented the participants with the latest techniques of coronography and CT perfusion of the coronary arteries.
The trainees also studied the experience of Russian colleagues in performing laparoscopic and endoscopic operations.
“As an intern, I was trained in the field of cardiology, learning to work using modern technologies in the field of early detection of heart diseases, which will help me work as a cardiothoracic surgeon,” says Chinmay Pevekar. – I fondly remember my training at Derzhavin University, which gave me not only solid knowledge in the field of medicine, but also an understanding of the importance of constant development.
