The Admissions Committee has started working at Tambov State University named after G.R. Derzhavin. You can enroll in secondary general education programs (Derzhavin Lyceum), secondary vocational and higher education (bachelor's degree, specialist's degree, master's degree, postgraduate study, and residency).
Applicants can choose from more than 200 educational programs, including such popular fields of study as General Medicine, Law, Journalism, Design, Economics, Linguistics, Pedagogical Education, Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, Acting, International Relations and many others, as well as new training programs, including Industrial High-Tech and Urban Studies, Physical Foundations of Robotic Systems, IT Entrepreneurship and Digital Solutions for Business.
- This year, Derzhavin University offers applicants 1,847 budget places, of which 1,483 are full-time, - says Rector Pavel Moiseev. - We have thoroughly approached the 2025 admissions campaign - we have revised many of our educational programs and opened new ones, including engineering. Young people, entering Derzhavin University, have a number of advantages. Thus, TSU students have the opportunity to receive two diplomas at once upon graduation, building their educational trajectory with the help of minors - individual development tracks. All Derzhavin University students, regardless of their field of study, can acquire IT competencies at the University's Digital Department. In parallel with the main educational program, TSU students can study at the University's Military Training Center. Graduates of the MTC receive a military ID along with their University diploma. This year, Derzhavin University is starting to train regular officers for the first time for the benefit of the Main Military Medical Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. Non-resident students have the opportunity to live either in university dormitories or in a new rental house, which will have been completed by the beginning of the next academic year.
At the opening of the Admissions Committee, graduates of the Derzhavin University Lyceum who scored 100 points in one subject at the Unified State Exam were awarded certificates for a personal scholarship named after V.Yu. Stromov. These are Arina Kazmina, Kirill Balybin, Konstantin Bugrov, Yaroslav Podyablonsky, who scored the maximum number of points in chemistry, and Vladimir Tolmachev who received 100 points in the Russian Language exam. This measure of support for talented youth was approved by the Academic Council in 2023. The denomination of each certificate is 100,000 rubles.

When submitting documents directly to the Admissions Committee of Derzhavin University, applicants will be able to receive personal advice from representatives of the University's educational structures in order to make the final right decision regarding the choice of the field of training and future education at Derzhavin University.
