Derzhavin University held a New Year's celebration for international students in the preparatory department to introduce them to the traditions of the Russian New Year.
This event offered an opportunity to experience the atmosphere of the winter holiday, learn the customs and cultural aspects of the celebration, and meet the main characters – Father Frost and Snow Maiden. The program included games, competitions, and student performances.
"Events like these are crucial for the adaptation of our international students," noted Natalia Dorozhkina, Director of the Institute of Continuing Education and Professional Retraining. "They enable international students to integrate into Russian life and build a solid foundation for future academic and professional success, while also fostering intercultural ties and developing international cooperation."
