Derzhavin University hosts traditional August pedagogical forum "Workshop of the Future Region: Education. Technologies. Development". The large-scale event has become a platform for discussing issues of the federal educational agenda and key vectors of development of the regional education system. The plenary session of the forum is devoted to the issues of preparing children and young people for professional self-determination in accordance with their abilities and interests, as well as taking into account the needs of the economy of the Tambov Region.
Representatives of Derzhavin University are taking part in the event. On the sidelines of the forum, TSU Rector Pavel Moiseev signs a tripartite agreement with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Tambov oblast and Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (National Research University) on the implementation of the All-Russian educational project for methodological support of specialized technological and natural science education of schoolchildren of specialized classes "Science in the Regions". The project will contribute to the growth of the average Unified State Exam score in natural and exact disciplines, the growth of interest in engineering and technology education among schoolchildren and the elimination of professional barriers in the work of teachers of specialized classes.
- One of the clearly expressed accents of the August pedagogical forum this year is the focus on the qualitative growth of teaching natural sciences and technology subjects. It is Derzhavin University that trains teachers in these subjects for schools in the Tambov oblast. We understand that in the coming years more resources need to be directed here: this is a response to the requests of the schoolchildren themselves and to the needs of technological development in Russia. Now in this joint work of ours with the regional Ministry of Education and Science there is a powerful institutional partner - MIPT. I believe that the first results of this cooperation will be already based on the results of the Unified State Exam next year, - comments Rector Pavel Moiseev.
As part of the forum, the ProfiGrad68 exhibition is open, which presents career guidance projects implemented in the Tambov Region. Participants, residents and guests of the region can view the exhibition in the art space of Derzhavin University at 6 Sovetskaya Street.
