The results of the International Ranking of Green Universities 2023 - UI GreenMetric World University Ranking - have been published. 1,183 universities from 84 countries took part in the ranking, among which Derzhavin University took 452nd place, improving its position compared to 2022. Among 48 participating universities from Russia, Derzhavin University took 14th place.
UI Green Metric is an international university ranking compiled by the University of Indonesia since 2010. The purpose of the rating is to attract the attention of the academic community to solving many environmental problems and pursuing a policy of sustainable environmental development. The developers took into account six criteria for assessing the activities of the university: the convenience of infrastructure, transport policy, waste recycling programs, the use of energy efficient technologies, water conservation, and education and research in the field of sustainable development.
