Derzhavin University has become a leader among universities in the Central Federal Region taking part in the IV Annual Independent Assessment of the quality of education “All-Russian Entrance Testing Program”. The promotion took place on the site of the educational platform “Urayt” from 6 September to 16 October. Entrance testing was carried out in 32 key subjects, for each of which three levels of difficulty were available: easy - for students enrolled in vocational education programs after 9th grade, basic and specialized - for students enrolled in higher education programs. The university’s participation in the event contributes to achieving the goals and indicators of the federal projects “Young Professionals” and “Digital Educational Environment”.
“Entrance testing allows us not only to provide an independent assessment of the quality of the entrance knowledge of our students, but also to provide the teacher with the objective data necessary for the correct construction of the training course and its possible adaptation taking into account the assessment of knowledge,” notes Vice-Rector for Educational Activities of Derzhavin University Inna Yakunina. – It is the use of various tools for independent external assessment of the quality of students’ knowledge that is the key to the development of university education and the basis for searching for areas for its improvement.
