Tambov State University named after G.R. Derzhavin became the only university in the region to win the Rosmolodezh.Grants competition with its project "Develop Yourself! Develop the Region! Develop the Country!" Creating a sustainable environment for the comprehensive development of young people, based on traditional Russian values, will ensure the professional development and personal growth of students and the training of competitive specialists.
"Derzhavin University received support in the amount of 26,640,614 rubles for the implementation of five project solutions in 2026 and five project solutions in 2027," says Natalia Kotova, Head of the Department for the Development of Youth Entrepreneurship and Project Activities at Derzhavin University. "Over two years, we will implement 78 events in the fields of science, technology, creativity, patriotism, local history, media, tourism, and intercultural activities to create a sustainable youth policy ecosystem." The project's events will be attended by students in vocational and higher education programs aged 17 to 25 and schoolchildren aged 14 to 16 who have a conscious interest in the history of their country and are actively developing a worldview based on historical memory. Five projects will be implemented in 2026: the media volunteer forum "Live with Purpose. Russia – a Great History!"; the creative industries and technologies forum "ArtTechnoDvizh"; the museum and exhibition exposition "From War to War, You Serve Your Country"; the accelerator of youth event projects in agricultural and gastronomic tourism "Tambov Tourist – 68"; and the international Russian language club "In the Heart of Russia."
In 2027, five more projects will be implemented in Derzhavin University: the patriotic media projects festival "Live with Purpose. Russia – a Country of Heroes!"; the youth projects festival "ArtTechnoDvizh"; The creation and presentation of the film series "From War to War, You Serve Your Country"; the "Hospitality Volunteers "Tambov Tourist - 68" school; and the comprehensive program for developing intercultural dialogue and promoting the Russian language "In the Heart of Russia. All Our Own."
Derzhavin University is charting a new path for youth policy development. It aims to actively engage students in events that foster not only patriotism—the foundation for scientific and technological achievements—but also the preservation of centuries-old traditions that form the spiritual foundation of Russia.
