An evening “Traditions of Russian tea drinking” was organized for teachers of educational institutions of the Republic of Uganda. The guests came to Derzhavin University as part of the project “Popularization of the Russian language and Russian education in African countries” (project initiator - Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, operator - D. I. Mendeleev Russian Chemical Technology University). Derzhavin university does everything to make the stay of the delegation useful, comfortable and memorable. The immersion in the atmosphere of Russian hospitality began with a meeting of the people of Uganda with bread and salt. They were introduced to the art of pottery. We conducted master classes on painting printed gingerbread cookies and making amulets dolls. Colleagues also visited the university recreation center “Galdym” and the equestrian estate “Put” in the village of Troitskaya Dubrava. The guests were given a tour of the territory, and then everyone was able to ride horses.
