Denis Soloviev, Associate Professor of the Department of Mathematical Modeling and Information Technology at Derzhavin University, was awarded a Doctor of Engineering Sciences degree by order of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
This year, Denis Sergeyevich defended his doctoral dissertation, "Methodology of Decision Support for Intelligent Control of Electroplating Production Systems." The topic is directly related to the professor's research interests, which include theoretical and applied aspects of systems analysis, modeling, optimization, control, and information processing to improve the efficiency of complex systems.
"The relevance of this research is driven by the significant volume of electroplating production and the growing need to improve the efficiency of related technological systems under conditions of uncertainty, which is of great economic importance for ensuring the competitiveness of enterprises," says Denis Soloviev. During the work, they formulated objectives for reducing uncertainty in decision-making and management processes, proposed criteria for assessing the effectiveness of their solutions, and developed corresponding models and methods. Based on the obtained results, they designed architecture, formalized operational algorithms, and created specialized software for a problem-oriented decision support and intelligent control system.
According to Denis Solovyov, the implementation of the system in galvanic coating production facilities minimized the impact of uncertainty on the selection of optimal parameters and their adjustment in real time, thereby increasing the efficiency of the process systems.
