The University team, consisting of Rector Pavel Moiseyev, Vice-Rector for Research Alexander Gusev, Vice-Rector for International Affairs Elena Zueva, Director for Strategic Development Marina Medvedeva and Sales Director of NBN OOO Poliplast Novomoskovsk Dmitry Manelyuk, successfully defended the annual report on the university's participation in the Priority-2030 program before the commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.
– We tried to find the best arguments to convince the high commission of our viability, – comments Pavel Moiseyev. – The Priority 2030 program helped the University change significantly, at least for three reasons. Firstly, in terms of choosing development goals: we learned to set truly ambitious goals, and not just plan something. Secondly, in terms of choosing the means to achieve goals: we learned to achieve better results with a smaller management team. Thirdly, in terms of choosing the optics of self-assessment: we began to treat the results of our activities not formally, but from the position of its real contribution to the improvement of the university - its infrastructure, education, science, social environment. Finally, the past year has consolidated the trend of recent years: thanks to the implementation of the development program, interest in Derzhavin Tambov State University is growing both from applicants and our technology partners.
