Representatives of Derzhavin University - Director of the Resource Center "Boomerang" Tigran Markaryan and Director of the Project Activity Center Svetlana Samoilova – took part in a strategic session on the development of volunteerism in the Tambov Region.
- President of Russia Vladimir Putin has set a goal to engage 45% of youth in volunteer and public activities. To achieve this, the Russian Government has extended the volunteer development support program until 2030," commented Tigran Markaryan, Director of the Resource Center "Boomerang." - Currently, an action plan is being developed to implement this concept, taking into account the proposals generated at strategic sessions held across all regions of Russia.
The strategic session, held at the Youth House of the Tambov Region, focused on the development of infrastructure to support volunteerism, digitalization of the nonprofit sector, promotion of corporate social responsibility, capacity building of NGOs, and improving their collaboration with other organizations.
The proposals developed by the participants will be submitted to the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh) and the DobroRF Association for inclusion in the action plan for the implementation of the volunteer movement development strategy in Russia.
