The scientists of Derzhavin University met with Professor Elena Vrublevskaya, Head of the Center for the Development of Pedagogical Education of the Russian Academy of Education, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences. The University was represented by Professor Pavel Sysoev, Head of the RAE Scientific Center at Derzhavin Tambov State University, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Evgeny Filatov, researcher of the Center and r Maxim Evstigneev, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professo of the Department of Linguistics and Linguodidactics. The colleagues discussed the structural model of linguo-methodological training of future foreign language teachers based on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, developed at the RAO Scientific Center at Derzhavin University.
The authors propose six types of AI feedback for the use in foreign language teaching methods. For each type, the researchers will prepare a set of AI tools to use in teaching specialized disciplines, pedagogical practice, and writing research papers. The structural model involves a number of specific step-by-step methods that integrate students' extracurricular educational practice with AI tools. As the authors of the method note,AI tools are used outside of class time, enhancing and complementing traditional student training practices.
– The creation of a foreign language teaching methodology based on artificial intelligence technologies will significantly enrich the educational process and create additional favorable conditions for the development of foreign language speech skills and the formation of language skills of students in the context of the implementation of a blended learning model, – says Professor Pavel Sysoev. – In the future, the integration of artificial intelligence in education will contribute to its greater personalization, the development of educational autonomy, and the preparation of students for learning along individual trajectories.
Based on the results of the meeting, the participants decided that Derzhavin University scientists would present their unique experience in integrating artificial intelligence technologies into education at the scientific and pedagogical platforms of the Russian Academy of Education.
