As part of the annual event "Archipelago-2025", held at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech), the delegation of Tambov oblast successfully represented the region in the general program for the development of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS).
One of the main topics of the "Archipelago" was the "Droneification of the Economy of Regions and Industries", aimed at fulfilling the instructions of the President of Russia on the development of unmanned aircraft systems. In total, representatives of 51 regions of the country took part in the event.
The Tambov Oblast team consisted of ten specialists - representatives of government agencies, universities, businesses and drone manufacturing companies. Among the participants were experts from Derzhavin University: the head of the Student Design Bureau "Intelligent Physical and Technical Systems", Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Ivan Pasechnikov, Director of the Special Design Bureau "Unmanned Aircraft Systems and Remote Sensing of the Earth" Artem Kireev and his deputy Anton Kokorev. All team members actively mastered advanced technologies and competencies in the development and operation of unmanned aerial vehicles and were involved in several key areas of the program: creating infrastructure for the mass use of drones in the regions and introducing flight safety services; exchanging best practices in the use of unmanned vehicles in the economy; developing a methodology for assessing the level of droneization in regions; formulating the concept of a single digital airspace ("seamless digital sky").
The program of events included a lecture series, practical classes, discussions of innovative solutions and a presentation of project results. The results of the work were assessed by a special commission, which noted the high achievements of the Tambov team. According to the results of the rating vote, the regional team took an honorable sixth place among 24 contestants and entered the top 13 best teams of the intensive course, who presented their projects to the expert community.
- Participation in the project allowed us to exchange experiences with colleagues from other regions, acquire knowledge and competencies necessary for the implementation of plans to introduce unmanned systems into the economy of Tambov oblast,” comments Artem Kireev.
