Students of Derzhavin University received a certificate of the third degree in 1/4 of the championship and secured a ticket to the next stage. Alexey Emelyanov, Vladimir Anisimov, Kirill Dyrdin proved that they are the best in the region and will continue to compete with the strongest teams of Russia.
Championship of the South and Volga Region of Russia on sports programming (1/4 of the ACM ICPC World Championship on Programming) season 2024-2025 was held at the Saratov National Research State University named after N.G. Chernyshevsky. Earlier, more than 400 teams from higher educational institutions of the country took part in qualifying competitions.
The official competition consists of several regional stages and ends with the world championship. During 5 hours teams have to solve the maximum number of tasks in one of the programming languages. The more tasks a team successfully completes, the higher its rating becomes. According to the conditions of the championship, the participants are prohibited to use any electronic devices, reference literature, program listing, etc.

– The author's methodology is based on the most modern research in the field of neuroscience and psychology, as well as many years of experience in competitions, teaching and participation in high-tech startups. An important difference is the use of the principles of andragogy (training adults), which help already formed individuals to most effectively achieve their goals.
