On the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Russia and Belarus, we share news about the development of cooperation between Derzhavin University and our brotherly state.
On April 1, a memorandum of cooperation was signed with the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Grodno. The center, which is a branch of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of Belarus, will soon accept three international students. The guys will undergo an internship together with students from Grodno universities.
On April 2, a round table on cooperation between the two countries in the field of education, science, and culture was held via teleconference, organized by partner universities – Derzhavin University and Baranovichi State University. A number of other Russian universities also took part in it.
- We are focused on expanding ties with universities in the Republic of Belarus, primarily in a qualitative sense. This concerns scientific and educational ties, and the development of academic exchange. The initiatives that have been implemented now are the result of the project "Week of Tambov State University named after G.R. Derzhavin in the Republic of Belarus", which took place in February of this year, - comments Elena Zueva, Vice-Rector for International Activities of Derzhavin University.
