The "Investments in the Future" scholarship board, representing financial market organizations, has approved the list of scholarship recipients for the 2026/2027 academic year. Among the top achievers is Denis Svechin, a third-year student at the Derzhavin University Institute of Economics, Information Technology, and Creative Industries.
The scholarship program supports the academic and research achievements of talented young people, encourages applied research in the financial market sector, builds a talent pipeline, and fosters financial literacy.
"My journey into research began without any fanfare; I simply wanted to explore the subject more deeply than the standard curriculum required. Receiving this scholarship is a welcome bonus that confirms my work is being noticed and is making a meaningful contribution," said Denis Svechin. "I am sincerely grateful to my academic supervisor, Professor Natalia Valentinovna Cheremisina (Doctor of Economics). Her professional approach and ability to set challenging tasks helped me take a broader view of the topic and look beyond initial conclusions. This research mindset will serve as an excellent foundation for my future work."
"Investments in the Future" is a program offering corporate and named scholarships to support students at Russian universities and vocational colleges; it was established in 2022 on the initiative of the Financial Market Council.
