Elizaveta Sdobnikova, a 3rd year student majoring in Advertising and Public Relations at Derzhavin University, won the All-Russian competition for the scholarships of the President of Russia for studying abroad. The scholarship is awarded to undergraduate and postgraduate students for outstanding achievements in study and research. In the 2024/2025 academic year, Elizaveta will go to the Belarusian State University. The scholarship will cover all travel, accommodation and tuition expenses.
– I have been involved in science since my first years at University and immediately realized that science is my thing, that I want to develop in this direction, – says Elizaveta Sdobnikova. – The sphere of my scientific interest is territorial branding, in particular, Tambov Oblast. Under the supervision of Associate Professor Olga Vidnaya, PhD in Philology, I wrote 10 scientific articles, participated in scientific competitions and made reports at conferences.
Elizaveta actively participates in the Student Scientific Society of Derzhavin University, where she realizes her ideas and tests scientific results. Every year the student represents the university at international and all-Russian media forums and meetings. Since January, she heads the student media center of the university.
A total of 67 people won the all-Russian competition for presidential scholarships to study abroad in 2024.
